How to test PowerBatt
There is testing technique which allows you to see how PowerBatt© works not in a few years, but in a few days. Yes, you need a bit of special equipment, but most of large electric-car users would have it: battery chargers with option of equalization and discharger. Running cycles of charge-discharge before and after PowerBatt© application will clearly show how it works and efficiency of our product. |
| What product you need
There are major types of PowerBatt© products:
- PowerBatt© START, for smaller starting car batteries with capacity about 100 CCA (Could Crank Amperes). These batteries feature thinner charging plates and require very careful application;
- PowerBatt© TRUCK, for bigger batteries used to start heavy engines on trucks, heavy machines etc. Usually they have capacity larger than 200 CCA, up to 3,000 CCA. However, they designed for large current in short time and their RC (Reserved Capacity) is not that great (you can easily drain it down leaving head lights for a few hours);
- PowerBatt© PREVENT, for Deep Cycle batteries. Since there are variety of those batteries, starting from marina/RV types and up to heavy-duty forklift power supply ones, application of PB-PREVENT differs only by amount to put in. These batteries have thicker charging plates and designed to be power source, many of them featuring starting option as well;
- PowerBatt© PLUS, designed specially to treat and restore heavily sulfated batteries. It is a bit more expensive than PREVENT and others, but often still better option to give another chance to big and expansive batteries. Not recommended for maintenance due its aggressive work. |  |

There are many types of additives in the market: oil, fluids, gas, etc. Now there is for batteries. Usually people find information about all these in Internet, which is perfectly fine for all of us. However, there are so many different opinions and suggestions, that are confusing, unless you are an expert. There are simple tips to find the truth:
- Is the product patented in the country of sale?
- Is the product certified in the country of sale?
- Can producer show original (or copy of it) report of testing and research, with stamps, dates and signs?
- Ask yourself, why there are this additives on market for so many years? Must be some reason.
- Don’t be confused by negative results on additive tests! Remember: companies selling original products (gas, oil, cars, batteries, you name it) want us to buy more from them, they fake test’s result for equipment life-extending additives, so you have to weight very carefully what you believe in. |
